VN-Index ended the session up 8.9 points, or 0.47%, reaching 1,886.03 points. Moving in the same direction, HNX-Index rose 4.29 points, or 1.6%, to 271.8 points. Trading value on HOSE and HNX reached VND 18,958 and VND 975 billion, respectively. Foreign investors net sold VND 2,008.9 billion on HOSE and VND 75.54 billion on HNX.

The market continues to fluctuate within a sideways price channel, ranging from the 1,838–1,845-point zone to the 1,925–1,945-point zone. VN-Index is highly likely to retest the 1,838–1,845-point support area during the early sessions of the week.

The index’s support zone is 1,850 – 1,860 points.

The index’s resistance zone is 1,880 – 1,885 points.
