The VN-Index closed the session down 2.73 points, or -0.14%, to 1,898.37 points. In contrast, the HNX-Index increased by 1.34 points (+0.53%) to 254.62 points. The trading value on the HOSE and HNX reached VND29,705 bn and VND1,491 bn, respectively.

Fading momentum in large caps is creating headwinds for the index, making it difficult for the index to sustain its upward trend. Intraday shakeouts within this stock group exerted significant pressure on the index, leading to heavy volatility and sharp corrections.

The index’s support zone is 1,885 – 1,890 points.

The index’s resistance zone is 1,910 – 1,920 points.
