At the close, the VN-Index gained 7.66 points, or 0.43%, reaching 1,799.31 points. In the same direction, the HNX-Index rose 8.42 points, or 2.78%, to 310.91 points. Trading values on HOSE and HNX reached VND 25,368 billion and VND 1,467 billion, respectively. Foreign investors net bought VND 4,060.74 billion on HOSE and VND 28.75 billion on HNX.

The VN-Index may continue to advance in the coming sessions, supported by favorable developments in the Middle East. However, the market’s upward movement is likely to be accompanied by increased divergence among stock groups. The index may move toward retesting the resistance zone around the MA50, corresponding to the 1,835-point level.

The index’s support zone is 1,780 – 1,790 points.

The index’s resistance zone is 1,810 – 1,830 points.
