At the close, VN-Index increased by 16.69 points (+0.95%) to 1,776.65 points. Similarly, HNX-Index rose by 0.75 points (+0.3%) to 252.41 points. Trading value on HOSE and HNX reached VND 23,452 billion and VND 1,251 billion, respectively.

VN-Index surged right from the opening, supported by large-cap stocks, and moved toward testing the resistance zone of 1,775–1,785 points. However, latent selling pressure in this resistance area caused the gains to narrow toward the end of the session. We lean toward the view that market movements will be choppy, fluctuating around the MA50, with sectors taking turns leading gains during this week’s sessions.

The index’s support zone is 1,750 – 1,760 points.

The index’s resistance zone is 1,780 – 1,785 points.
