At the close of the session, VN-Index increased by 8.96 points, equivalent to 0.51%, reaching 1,758.96 points. In contrast, HNX-Index fell by 1.97 points, or 0.1%, to 251.66 points. Trading value on HOSE and HNX reached VND 22,532 billion and VND 1,435 billion, respectively.

VN-Index is still facing resistance around the MA50 line, corresponding to the 1,770–1,785-point range. The market may come under corrective pressure in the early sessions of the week to retest the gap from last week’s rally, or in a more negative scenario, may test the MA200 line.

The index’s support zone is 1,730 – 1,740 points.

The index’s resistance zone is 1,765 – 1,775 points.
