Heavy selling pressure at the end of the afternoon session caused VN-Index to lose 0.67 points (-0.05%), to 1,269.93 points. Similarly, HNX-Index lost 0.2 points (-0.09%), to 232.47 points. The trading value on HOSE and HNX reached VND 11,849.42 billion and VND 1,140.23 billion, respectively.

Regarding the medium-term movement of the market, VN-Index is still fluctuating within a medium-term sideways channel that has lasted from the beginning of Q2, corresponding to the range between the 1188-1205-point and the 1300-1325-point zones.

Support zone: 1260-1270 points.

Resistance zone: 1280-1285 points.
