VN-Index closed the session down 30.64 points, or 1.82%, at 1,652.54 points. Similarly, HNX-Index decreased by 1.92 points, or 0.72%, settling at 265.36 points. Trading value on HOSE and HNX reached VND 30,705 billion and VND 2,292 billion, respectively.

In the last week of October, the market's attention will be focused on the interest rate results and the Federal Reserve's guidance on future monetary policy. Additionally, the portfolio rebalancing activities of investment funds based on the Vn30, VnFinlead, and VnDiamond indices will be events that could lead to market volatility.
