At the end of the session, VN-Index lost 13.49 points (-1.06%), to 1,257.41. Similarly, HNX-Index lost 1.81 points (-0.8%), to 224.69 points. The trading value on HOSE and HNX reached VND 15,980.79 billion and VND 650.46 billion, respectively.

We also note that the market may adjust further as short-term risk factors have not yet ended. In the scenario where VN-Index does not surpass the MA50 line and supply pressure intensifies the index will face the risk of further decline to the support area around the MA200 line, corresponding to the 1240-1250-point range, in late October.

Support zone: 1,250 - 1,255 points.

Resistance zone: 1,265 - 1,275 points.
