VN-Index surged 49.68 points (+3.02%), to reach 1,695.5 points. Similarly, HNX-Index increased by 8.94 points (+3.36%), to 274.69 points. Trading value on HOSE and HNX reached VND 31,784 billion and VND 2,307 billion, respectively.

This week, the focal point of the market will be the assessment result of the market’s upgrade, set for October 7. If the upgrade is confirmed, it will serve as a strong positive catalyst for the market's medium-term outlook, potentially alleviating the pressure from foreign net withdrawals and attracting new foreign capital in the near future.

The support zone for VN-Index is located at 1,650 – 1,660 points.

The resistance zone for VN-Index is located at 1,700 – 1,705 points.
