At the end of the session, VN-Index dropped 12.25 points, or 0.74%, to close at 1,642.64 points. Similarly, HNX-Index declined 0.55 points, or 0.21%, to 266.15 points. Trading value reached VND 17,863 billion on HOSE and VND 1,916 billion on HNX.

VN-Index is currently moving sideways within a range of 1,600–1,620 points to 1,705–1,725 points. The market may enter a phase of narrow-range consolidation with choppy movements before potentially heading toward the upper resistance zone of this channel in the near term.

The VN-Index’s support zone is 1,620 – 1,640 points.

The VN-Index’s resistance zone is 1,670 – 1,690 points.
