VN-Index closed the session up 3.96 points, or 0.24%, to 1,684.32 points. In contrast, HNX-Index slipped 0.48 points (-0.18%) to 261.43 points. The trading value on the HOSE and HNX reached VND 21,218 bn and VND 955 bn, respectively.

VN-Index may face shaking pressure as it approaches the 1,690–1,700 zone in the final session of the week. The index may need some time to move sideways around the MA50 to reinforce its reliability after breaking above this moving average, before heading toward the upper-channel resistance zone of 1,720–1,735 in the short term.

The VN-Index’s support zone is 1,670 – 1,675 points.

The VN-Index’s resistance zone is 1,700 – 1,710 points.
