At the close of the session, VN-Index lost 5.1 points (-0.39%), to reach 1,296.29 points. Similarly, HNX-Index dropped by 1.45 points (-0.66%), closing at 217.24 points. Trading values on HOSE and HNX were recorded at VND 22,391 billion and VND 947 billion, respectively.

VN-Index is likely to continue experiencing a correction in the early sessions of the week, but the downside pressure may not be too significant as many large-cap stocks are still in a positive state. The market's movement may follow a direction of holding steady in terms of points, with strong differentiation between stock groups.
