During the week, VN-Index increased by 24.99 points, or 1.52%, to 1,672.8 points, with 201 advancing stocks and 165 decliners. Average trading value for the week was VND 23,258 billion, down 10.43% from the previous week. Foreign investors recorded net selling of VND 3,000 billion during the week.

VN-Index posted a strong gain, with market breadth clearly skewed toward advancing stocks. Closing the week above the 200-day moving average signals a more positive near-term outlook for the market.

The index’s support zone is 1,650 – 1,670 points.

The index’s resistance zone is 1,700 – 1,730 points.
