VN-Index gained 17.08 points (+1.01%) to close at 1,710.29. Meanwhile, HNX-Index rose 1.12 points (+0.46%) to 246.86 points. Trading value on HOSE and HNX reached VND 25,488 billion and VND 1,405 billion, respectively.

VN-Index posted solid gains from the beginning of the session and maintained its upward momentum throughout the trading day. The index is likely to extend its rally in the next session, heading toward a test of the resistance zone around the 100-day moving average, corresponding to the 1,740–1,750-point range.

The index’s support zone is 1,690 – 1,700 points.

The index’s resistance zone is 1,725 – 1,740 points.
