At the close, VN-Index decreased by 9.76 points, equivalent to 0.54%, to 1,808.51 points. Similarly, the HNX-Index declined by 0.26 points, or 0.1%, to 257.59 points. Trading value on HOSE and HNX reached VND 35,395 billion and VND 3,825 billion, respectively.

VN-Index turned down at the end of the session as many large-cap stocks fell to their floor prices. Market breadth was fairly balanced as the number of gainers and losers did not differ significantly. Liquidity declined compared to the previous session, while foreign investors maintained net selling for the third consecutive session.

The index’s support zone is 1,780 – 1,800 points.

The index’s resistance zone is 1,825 – 1,830 points.
