At the close of the session, VN-Index decreased by 5.11 points (-0.34%), to 1,502.52 points. In contrast, HNX-Index increased by 4.83 points (-1.85%), to 266.34 points. The trading value on HOSE and HNX reached VND 43,409 billion and VND 4,224 billion, respectively.

VN-Index is likely to continue its recovery and test the previous resistance zone of 1,520–1,536 points in the final session of the week. However, we still caution against the risk of a short-term correction in August if leading stock groups such as banking and securities show signs of weakness as they approach their previous peak levels.

VN-Index’s support: 1,465 – 1,475 points.

VN-Index’s resistance: 1,525 - 1,530 points.
