The VN-Index closed the session down 0.79 points, or -0.05%, to settle at 1,754.03 points. Similarly, the HNX-Index decreased by 2.24 points (-0.87%) to 253.77 points. The trading value on the HOSE and HNX reached VND28,419 bn and VND1,639 bn, respectively.

VN-Index fluctuated within a narrow range with sharply declining liquidity. Market breadth was relatively balanced, with the number of advancing and declining stocks roughly equal. This trend may continue in the coming sessions as the long Lunar New Year holiday approaches, making investors more cautious about disbursement ahead of the holiday.

The index’s support zone is 1,740 – 1,750 points.

The index’s resistance zone is 1,770 – 1,800 points.
