VN-Index closed the session down 39.97 points (-2.24%), falling to 1,742.85 points. In the same direction, HNX-Index declined by 1.62 points (-0.64%) to 250.98 points. Trading value on HOSE and HNX reached VND 26,351 billion and VND 1,570 billion, respectively.

VN-Index managed to break above the 1,800-point threshold during the morning session; however, weakness in several large-cap stocks caused the market to reverse sharply and decline toward the end of the session.

The VN-Index’s support zone is 1,725 – 1,735 points.

The VN-Index’s resistance zone is 1,750 – 1,760 points.
