During the week, VN-Index gained 15.47 points (+0.95%), to 1,645.47 points, with 94  advancers and 282 decliners. The average trading value for the week reached VND 56,196 billion, up 8.99% compared to the previous week. Foreign investors net sold VND 7,607 billion.

Although the pressure on mid- and small-cap stocks, which has intensified in the recent period, is still present, these stocks may experience a few technical rebound sessions before entering a consolidation phase toward the end of August.

The support zone for VN-Index is located at 1,630 – 1,640 points.

The resistance zone for VN-Index is located at 1,660 – 1,680 points.
