At the close, VN-Index lost 8.11 points (-0.48%) to 1,694.82 points. Similarly, HNX-Index declined by 1.1 points (-0.44%) to 250.36 points. Trading value on HOSE and HNX reached VND 27,392 billion and VND 1,241 billion, respectively.

VN-Index reversed into a correction as most stocks declined. The index’s upward momentum will likely slow and shift into a consolidation phase, forming a new base around the 1,700-point level. It may continue to fluctuate within a narrow range around this level in the final trading session of the week.

The index’s support zone is 1,680 – 1,690 points.

The index’s resistance zone is 1,710 – 1,730 points.
