The market continued to tumble with somewhat reduced liquidity. VN-Index closed down 17.49 points (-1.42%), to 1,210.3 points. Similarly, HNX-Index lost 0.83 points (-0.39%), to 210.24 points. Trading value reached VND 19,465.07 billion on HOSE and VND 1,079.84 billion on HNX.

After a period of strong fluctuations in the first half of April, VN-Index is likely to return to a more balanced and stable trend in the second half of the month. The index is forecast to establish a sideways range, fluctuating between 1,165-1,185 and 1,245-1,265 points.

Support zone: 1,200-1,205 points.

Resistance zone: 1,230-1,250 points.
